Macau casinos out of podium

While Macau hosts some of the biggest and most profitable casinos in the world, the city is far from the top when it comes to quality – at least, according to Forbes magazine. Forbes recently released its ranking of the eight best gaming and leisure centres in the world and the best Macau got was a six place, with the Venetian Macao. The U.S.-based publication listed Bellagio, in Las Vegas, as the winner, followed by Wynn Las Vegas and casino Monte Carlo. In forth comes “Baden Baden” casino, in Germany, one of the oldest in Europe, followed by South African “Sun City”. Casino Gran Hotel, in Ibiza, and the Atlantis Paradise Resort Bahamas, respectively, rounded up the list. The ranking was based on each property’s level of luxury, available shows, quality of service and popularity.
