Although HSBC has pulled out of an US$850 million (MOP6.8 billion) five-year loan for MGM Grand Macau, the move won’t have any impact on the deal, bankers close to the loan told International Financing Review Asia (IFRAsia). The loan is 20 percent oversubscribed among 10-12 banks, the same sources added. “We are oversubscribed by enough that one or two banks can walk away and the deal will still get done,” said a source quoted by IFRAsia.
