Second-half net profit rose 15.4 percent to HK$353.9 million (US$45.6 million) at VIP gaming investor Neptune Group Ltd. The increase “denotes our organic and inorganic growth” through profit-sharing deals with junket promoters, the company told the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Neptune says it is “cautiously optimistic” about this year, despite increased competition throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The company said it would focus on increasing its Cotai footprint.
