Smoking should be allowed in casinos, says the majority of respondents to a Macau Business web poll. According to the results, 51 percent of the respondents were in favour of smoking in casinos with no restrictions at all. On the other hand, 27.5 percent said smoking should be allowed, but only in designated areas. In favour of a ban, 17.8 percent of respondents said smoking should not be allowed at all in casinos, while another 3.7 percent although agreeing with this view, said there should be a transition period before applying a definitive ban.
