Macau (MNA) – Local driver Kevin Tse Wing Kin managed the best result of all Macau drivers in the Suncity Group Macau Guia Race – FIA WTCR first qualifying of today, finishing in 24th with a 02.34.551s time.
In his return to the Macau circuit after a serious accident in Zhuhai took him out of the competition in 2017, Andre Couto, finished in 26th.
All Macau WTCR drivers take part in the competition as guest drivers, with their cars running 20 kilogrammes heavier than other competitors.
Local drivers Lo Kai Fung (28th), Filipe Sousa (29th), Rui Valente (30th) and Lam Kam San (31st).
British driver Rob Huff finished the first qualifying with the best time, at 02:29.333, followed by Argentinian driver Esteban Guerrieri and Mehdi Bennani.
Only the fastest 12 cars in the first qualifying take part in the following WTCR second and third qualifying races.
