Macau | IFT fees for non-resident students increase 20pct

Macau (MNA) – The Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) has increased its academic fees for all non-resident students for the academic year 2019-2020, an Official Gazette dispatch this Monday revealed.

According to the release, the annual fees for Bachelor and Master’s degrees have been increased by 20 per cent to students from Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong to MOP34,600.

Meanwhile, the annual fees for students enrolling in the local institution from outside the Greater China region were also raised by 20 per cent to MOP44,900.

Annual academic fees for residents remained unchanged from a year before at MOP24,000.

The IFT is a public education institution under the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, offering degrees and professional programmes in tourism areas such as hospitality, tourism business, heritage, events, and retail and marketing.
