The 2020 Guangdong & Macao Branded Products Fair will still be held this year at The Venetian Macao from December 11 to 13, with incentives granted to participating companies, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) announced.
The event is jointly organised with the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, with companies interested in joining to register from September 2 to 23.
‘COVID-19 brought impact on local companies to different extents. To create more business opportunities, IPIM has launched an anti-epidemic discount for SMEs and reduced the participation fee to MOP680, in the hope of encouraging SMEs to expand business opportunities through this fair and better boost the post-pandemic economy,’ IPIM stated.
Currently, travellers coming from Guangdong are required to present a negative nucleic acid test, with tourist visas for residents in the Chinese province also resumed sine August 26.
The event will focus on companies engaged in ‘Made in Macao’ products, Macau brands and Macau designs, and agents of overseas brands (especially products from Portuguese-speaking countries)
