Macau | Melco announces salary rise after CNY bonus

Macau (MNA) – Melco Resorts & Entertainment will increase salaries for all eligible non-management employees between 2.5 per cent and 8.1 per cent, the company said in a press release on Tuesday. The company also said that employees already received a one-month salary bonus before Chinese New Year.

The increase come into effect from April 1. Eligible full-time, non-management employees receiving a salary of up to MOP16,000 (US$1989.6) will see an increase of MOP600 per month, an increase of 3.8 per cent to 8.1 per cent. Those with salaries over MOP16,000 will receive an increment of 2.5 per cent.

Lawrence Ho, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, commented in the press release that he considers the employees as Melco’s ‘strongest asset,’ and offers the bonus and salary rise ‘as a token of our heartfelt thanks for their unfailing dedication, contribution and loyalty’.
