Macau | Winners of the 5th Business Awards of Macau revealed

Macau (MNA) – The winners were picked by a ​jury panel composed by 30 members of the jury, who​ selected what they considered to be the​ 46 best examples of contributions to promote the local entrepreneurial spirit, while advancing and increasing awareness for best industry practices and standards. ​

In Environmental Performance Galaxy Macau received the Gold Award with Kwan On Environment Engineering Co., Ltd.; DHL and Grand Lapa Macau receiving the Excellence Award.

For the Corporate Social Responsibility category Melco Resorts & Entertainment received the Gold Award with Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16; Shell Gas (LPG) Macau Limited; Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU) and Shun Tak Holdings (Macau) Ltd receiving the Excellence Award.

In Non-Profit Organisation the Gold Award went to Hope International Volunteer Group with the Excellence Award being presented to Fuhong Society of Macau; Macau International Carnival Association; Macau Borderless Youth Association and to the Rotary Club of Macau.

The Innovation Gold Award went to Speedking Technology Limited Company with the Excellence Award going to Manner Producão & Media Lda; the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Macau, to Phantoms Lab and to Hovione.

In the Most Valuable Brand category Che Lee Yuen  (O’Che 1867) was the recipient of the Gold Award, while Aristocrat; SG Gaming and PokerStars LIVE Macau all received the Excellence Award.

In the Small and Medium Enterprise category the Gold Award went to two companies, iFood Macau, Ltd and to Great Time Limited. For this category the Excellence Award went to Like Entertainment & Production Co. Ltd; iGift Uniform Limited and to Central Technology Limited

For the New Talent category the Gold Award went to the Vice President of the AES Education Group, Ivan Ip.In this category the Excellence Award went to Jacqueline Peirce, the Store Manager of Louis Vuitton Macau Company Limited; to Bill Sou, Director of Engineering  at Grand Lapa Macau; and to Mike Lei, the Manager of Slot Operations at MGM Grand Paradise Ltd.

In the Leading By Example category the Gold Award was handed to Shell Gas (LPG) Macau Limited with the Excellence Award being received by Lai Si Construction & Engineering Company Limited; Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (SJM). This year the Excellence Award was also granted to Loreto Mijares, who rescued an elderly couple from the floodwater that ravaged the Inner Harbour in Macau during Typhoon Hato. 

The Gold Award for the Young Entrepreneur category went to the CEO and Executive Director of Lai Si Construction & Engineering Company Limited,Harry Lai.

Meanwhile the Excellence Award was presented to Lok Chi Huo Co-founder and CEO of Manner Producão & Media Lda; to Leo Wong, the Founder of iGift Uniform Limited; to Aeson Lei the CEO of iFood Macau, Ltd.; and to Armando Amante, the Managing Director of Contribuild Group Holdings Limited.

In the Entrepreneur category Stanley Au, the Chairman of Delta-Asia Financial  Group, received the Gold Award.

The Excellence Award in this category was presented to the CEO of Big Four Development  Group, Ltd., Albert Chuck; to the Founder and Chairman of Hard Work Education Centre, Towinal Mak; and to Andy Szeto, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Cowin Group.

Finally, the Grand Merit Award was presented to the Macau Statistics and Census Service (DSEC).
