Mozambique: Port of Maputo to be equipped to receive cruise ships – minister

Maputo – The minister of culture and tourism, Silva Dunduro, said that the project includes setting up cultural ventures for tourists, namely an art gallery and a club that is to host jazz sessions and other cultural events.

“We want to have a more organised tourism whose results can be seen,” Dunduro said.

Elsewhere, the authorities are also planning to make improvements a Barra and Tofo beaches in the province of Inhambane, in the south of the country.

The initiative is to involve stopping the spread of informal construction in both areas, Dunduro added.
