Macau (MNA) – Local View Power (LVP) brings 14 productions production presented in two sections during the Film Festival.
Iao Cho Fong, director of The Graduate talks about his feeling of joining this programme:
MNA:Why do you want to join this programme?
Iao: LVP is a famous programmer in Macau film industry, many local film makers starts their career through this programme. I think it is a rare opportunity for us to learn how to film a documentary. During the whole process, many professional mentors taught us how to make a film presenting our ideas and stories and gave us advices.
MNA:What do you think of LVP? Does it offer any help for local film makers?
Iao: It’s a meaningful chance for us. It gives us a chance to enter the industry and know more people in this industry.
MNA:What do you think of the IFFAM and LVP? Do you have any advices?
Iao:It’s a really good event for us, it is more like a learning programme instead of a competition. I hope LVP can offer more places for more film lovers and it would be great if IFFAM can hold more local film making workshops.
MNA:What do you think of film industry in Macau?
Iao:It’s still in its infancy. We still need to grow up step by step. However, I am very happy to see so many people still enthusiasm-for chasing their dreams and work hard. One day, Macau’s films will go global, as long as we persist.
MNA:How do you feel when your work screening in the theatre?
Iao: Amazing. It’s like a dream comes true.
