According to a press release from the MSAR Government on Tuesday, the report stated that the acts carried out by Fong and Leong ‘might eventually constitute disciplinary infraction,’ and recommended taking disciplinary measures against the latter.
The government further informed that the CE has already assigned an investigator to the case, following legal instructions initially filed by the Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Raimundo Arrais do Rosário, but brought no further disclosure about the exact actions that would be undertaken.
The report also stated that no evident proof was found against other staff of the bureau while performing their functions, concluding that they should not be hold accountable on disciplinary grounds.
The CE had previously appointed Prosecutor Mai Man Ieng, Professor Iu Vai Pan and auditor Ho Mei Va as the members of the investigation task force.
