Macau | Freight issue shrinks Chinese Racing Cup grid – Grand Prix

Macau (MNA) – The seven TCR cars – five Volkswagens and two Audis – initially entered into the race have been withdrawn as the teams’ containers did not receive clearance for release for the Macau Grand Prix due to a non-disclosed freight issue.

The last TCR China Series round was held in Ningbo on October 28 and 29, with the Macau
Grand Prix slated as the penultimate event of the 2017 season.

The Suncity Chinese Racing Cup will be contested in the Grand Prix with twenty-four BAIC
Senova D50 one-make cup entries and three SEAT Leon TCR spec guest cars stationed on
Zhuhai Circuit ahead of the event.
