Macau (MNA) – The incumbent director of the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG), Tam Vai Man, has paid a visit to Guangzhou to conclude a co-operation plan by the Macau SAR and Guangdong in response to future meteorological hazards and earthquakes, a press release posted by SMG has announced.
On December 1, Mr. Tam met the head of the Guangdong Meteorological Service, Zhuang Yudong, with other managers and technicians to discuss specific implementation details in order to ensure the implementation of the co-operation agreement as soon as possible.
In addition, Mr. Tam visited the Guangdong Earthquake Service to review previous co-operation plans on earthquake-related matters covering past years involving the two regions. Deepening co-operation was also discussed during the visit.
