Macau (MNA) – Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President, Macau Operations, Artyzen Hospitality Group, Ltd., was re-elected Chairman of the France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) for a three-year term until 2021, the Chamber announced on Wednesday.

Verschuren (pictured second from the right) was re-elected on March 22 during the Chamber’s annual General Assembly held at Grand Lapa.

Nacky Kuan, Executive Director of The Macao Water Supply Co. Ltd., was elected Vice-President.

“We will focus on a number of strategic developments as we continue to strengthen the ties between France and Macau, while enriching our members with knowledge and useful business connections through our offerings of leading Chamber events in town,” Mr. Verschuren was quoted as saying in a press release.

Eric Chan, General Manager of One Central, and Frederico Conde, Managing Director of Conde Group, were also elected during the meeting to fill the seats of the Board of Directors.

The FMCC is a non-profit organisation founded in 2008 with the support of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), and the Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau.

It is managed on a voluntary basis by a group of business leaders and chaired by Mr. Verschuren.
