Benjamin Howes, spokesman for Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou, says that ‘we have trust in the legal process and look forward to seeing Ms Meng’s freedom restored’ following a court hearing in Vancouver. Meng, whose arrest in Canada on a US warrant triggered a bitter diplomatic row, has vowed to fight extradition to the United States.
