Melco appoints 3 new executives, Alidad Tash returns to oversee casino operations

Melco Resorts & Entertainment made on Friday three new appointments to its leadership team, as well as the resignation of its current chief operating officer, David Sisk.

In an internal memo obtained by Macau News Agency, the casino operator announced that Alidad Tash would assume the role of executive vice president of analytics and gaming operations for Macau.

Mr. Tash served as senior vice president of gaming operations & strategy at Melco back in 2010, after a four-year stint as vice president for Strategic Marketing at The Venetian Macao, where he popularised No Commission Baccarat.

He left Melco in 2016 and founded 2NT8, where he served as the managing director for seven years.

2NT8 is a consultancy firm that advises clients on casinos and integrated mega-resorts in Macau, Japan, Korea, Las Vegas and Greece.

Stefan Bollhalder will join the leadership as vice president of hotels and food & beverage for City of Dreams Macau. His experiences in the luxury hospitality sector include Hyatt Hotels, Shangri-la Paris, and Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono.

Effective from 1 April, Linda Switzer will take up the position of vice president of retail. She has worked for Wynn Macau since 2007 and served as vice president of retail for Wynn Macau in recent years.

Until further notice, Tash, Bollhalder and Switzer will report to Evan Winkler, president and board director for Melco.

In addition to the new appointments, Melco also announced the resignation of David Sisk, the chief operating officer for Macau Resorts.

The company is now considering potential candidates to fill the position, and further announcements will be made as soon as the search concludes.
